The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco has ruled against President Trump's Muslim travel ban. ACLU of Massachusetts executive director Carol Rose had this response:

“This is very good news for all the people, the families, the businesses disrupted, all the lives that have been impacted by the recent Trump ban on immigration from majority Muslim nations. After we filed our original lawsuit in Boston amid the chaos caused by the Trump executive order, we saw the Trump Administration pull back from its crackdown on existing green card holders. Now, days later, we see this comforting decision at the 9th Circuit Federal Court. At the ACLU, we are pioneers for freedom and we will continue to watch over and help protect everyone’s rights in our Commonwealth.”
