The ACLU of Massachusetts released the following statement in response to the passing of Representative Alice Wolf:
"We mourn the passing of civil rights and civil liberties champion Representative Alice Wolf. In her many roles in public service, from the Legislature to Cambridge City Hall, Representative Wolf was steadfast in her dedication to social justice and human rights. Her persistence and courage on behalf of equal rights for all shaped our Commonwealth for the better. Through her personal and professional mentoring, Representative Wolf also inspired and nurtured new generations of social justice advocates to carry forward her life’s work."
