Our Technology for Liberty director Kade Crockford appeared on WGBH's Greater Boston to discuss Apple’s legal fight against a court order to help the government unlock an iPhone belonging to one of the San Bernardino shooters, Syed Farook.

The government is asking Apple, essentially, to serve as a spy in the service of the government. ...
[Setting this precedent would mean] that the government has a right to force technology companies to serve their clients malware on their devices... it blows open this completely untenable future for technology."
